Fresh Turmeric Tonic

Ingredients

  • 3 inches Fresh Turmeric (peeled and grated)
  • 1 ½ inches Fresh Ginger (peeled and grated)
  • 1 medium Carrot (chopped)
  • 1 whole Lemon (juiced)
  • 1 large Orange (juiced, about ½ cup juice)
  • 1 pinch Finely Ground Pepper
  • 1 ½ cups Coconut Water (or filtered water)
  • 2-3 tablespoons Raw Honey or Pure Maple Syrup (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Chop or grate the turmeric and ginger.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until pureed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup as needed.
  4. Serve immediately.
