Instructions
- Combine turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, lemon rind, maple syrup (if using), cayenne (if using), and filtered water in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and strain the tonic into mugs.
- Enjoy warm, or dilute with more hot water if too potent.
