Ingredients

The chicken

  • 3 - 4 pieces Chicken Breasts, skinless/boneless (approx. 8 oz each)
  • to season N/A Salt
  • to season N/A Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Oregano

The sauce

  • 16 oz Salsa

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add ½ cup of salsa to the inner pot of the pressure cooker and place the chicken on top.
  3. Sprinkle oregano and taco seasoning over the chicken.
  4. Pour the remaining salsa over the chicken, ensuring it is covered.
  5. Seal the lid and set the steam release knob to the Sealing position.
  6. Press the Pressure Cook/Manual button and set the time to 10-12 minutes based on the thickness of the chicken.
  7. Once cooking is complete, let the pot sit for 10 minutes to naturally release pressure, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  8. Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks, then return it to the pot with the sauce.
