Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt and pepper

The salsa

  • 2 cups favorite salsa

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cover the chicken completely with salsa.
  3. Set the crock pot to low and cook for 4½ hours.
  4. Remove the chicken and strain out the salsa, keeping the juice.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back with the strained salsa.
