Vegan Green Bean Casserole

can white beans, drained and rinsed

The topping

raw walnuts (or pecans, almonds, etc.)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- Heat olive oil in a deep sauté pan and sauté the onion until softened.
- Add green beans and salt, cover, and cook until heated through.
- Blend the drained white beans, water, garlic, salt, rosemary, black pepper, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Pulse walnuts and salt in a food processor until coarsely ground.
- Pour the sauce over the green beans, stir well, and transfer to an oven-safe dish.
- Sprinkle the walnut topping over the casserole.
- Bake for 30 minutes until hot and the topping is golden.
- Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
