Blood Orange Margarita

  • 2 oz. honey simple syrup
  • 4 oz. blood orange juice
  • 4 oz. high-quality tequila
  • 2 oz. lime juice
  • 1-2 cups ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the honey simple syrup by boiling water, honey, and vanilla in a small pot, then simmer for 10 minutes and let cool.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, add 1 to 2 cups of ice, then pour in blood orange juice, lime juice, tequila, and simple syrup.
  3. Shake well to mix all ingredients together.
  4. Serve over ice with fresh blood orange slices and a salty rim.
