Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • ½ cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup triple sec
  • 6 oz tequila
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • to taste kosher salt, for the glass rim
  • as needed fresh lime wedges, for garnishing
  • as needed ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses by wetting the rims with water and dipping them in kosher salt.
  2. In a mixing container, combine the orange juice, lime juice, triple sec, tequila, and sugar.
  3. Stir the mixture well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Adjust the taste by adding more orange juice, lime juice, tequila, or sugar as desired.
  5. Fill the prepared glasses with ice cubes and add lime wedges for garnish.
  6. Pour the orange-lime margarita mixture into the glasses and serve immediately.
