Ingredients

The juice

  • 1 small orange
  • 2 small lemons

The spices

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh turmeric
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh ginger
  • tsp fresh black pepper

Optional ingredients

  • ¼ tsp oil (such as extra virgin)

Instructions

  1. Juice the orange and lemons, and add turmeric and ginger to a juicer.
  2. If using a blender, blend turmeric and ginger, then add the juices and blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
  4. Serve the shots immediately, topped with fresh cracked black pepper and optional oil.
