Ingredients

  • 1 piece (2-inch) turmeric root
  • 1 whole lemon (juiced)
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • ΒΌ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the skin off the turmeric root.
  2. Cut the turmeric into 3-4 pieces and place it in a high-speed blender.
  3. Add the lemon juice, coconut water, and black pepper to the blender.
  4. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  5. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to separate the juice from the pulp.
  6. Transfer the juice to a jar or pitcher and consume immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
