Ingredients

The base

  • ¼ cup crushed GF pretzels
  • ¼ cup coconut or almond flour
  • ¼ cup roasted cashews (crushed)
  • ½ cup nut butter (coconut peanut butter recommended)
  • 6–8 tablespoon Chocolate or Vanilla Protein Powder
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ to ⅓ cup raw honey or maple syrup

Optional flavorings

  • ½ teaspoon butter extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1. Blend pretzels and cashews in a food processor.
  2. 2. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add all remaining ingredients, mixing well.
  3. 3. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  4. 4. Coat the bites with extra cocoa powder and crushed pretzel if desired.
  5. 5. Set in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, then return to the freezer or refrigerate to maintain freshness.
