Ingredients

The base ingredients

  • ½ cup coconut flour, peanut flour, or flapjacked buttermilk pancake batter
  • ½ cup cocoa powder or other chocolate protein powder
  • ¼ cup nut butter of choice
  • ¼ cup crushed pistachios
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup

Add-ins

  • 1 handful dried cherries
  • ½ tsp butter extract (optional)
  • to taste ground ginger or cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the coconut or peanut flour, cocoa powder or chocolate protein, nut butter, dried cherries, and crushed pistachios in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Add in the honey or maple syrup and mix again.
  3. Optionally, add a dash of cinnamon or ginger for extra spice.
  4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  5. Store in the refrigerator or freeze to maintain freshness.
