Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9 x 9 baking dish with cooking spray.
- 2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- 3. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes.
- 4. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 5. Whisk in the milk gradually until combined.
- 6. Add the cream cheese and cook until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
- 7. Stir in the corn and transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- 8. Season with salt and pepper, then top with shredded cheese.
- 9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
