Instructions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until foaming.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release most of their liquid, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir in chicken broth, onion powder, and garlic powder, then bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, whisk together milk and flour.
- Stir in the milk mixture and cook until the soup has thickened, about 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
