30-Minute Gouda Mac and Cheese

Instructions
- Preheat the broiler to high.
- Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions, then drain.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add flour and whisk until golden brown.
- Add milk and cook for 6 minutes until it thickens.
- Reduce heat to low, add all but ½ cup of cheese, and cook until melted.
- Stir in mustard, salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
- Melt butter in a large oven-safe skillet, add panko, and cook for 5 minutes until browned.
- Toss drained pasta and cheese sauce in the skillet.
- Top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs, then broil for 2 to 4 minutes until cheese is melted.
