Tomato Basil Pasta

Instructions
- 1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta al dente according to package directions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
- 3. Add tomatoes, salt, and black pepper to the skillet, increasing heat to medium-high, and cook until the tomatoes burst, about 6-7 minutes.
- 4. Stir in chopped basil and remove from heat until the pasta is ready.
- 5. Combine the drained pasta with the tomato sauce in the skillet, tossing to mix well and adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- 6. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of Romano cheese and basil.
