Sage Butter Brussels Sprouts with Prosciutto

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 oz chopped prosciutto
  • ½ stick butter
  • 2 tbsp sage
  • 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • ¼ cup rice wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Blend the butter with the sage using an emulsion blender and set aside.
  2. Prepare the grill for direct and indirect cooking zones, placing the cast iron skillet on indirect heat near the direct zone, or heat the skillet on medium/medium-high on the stove.
  3. Add ½ of the butter (¼ cup) to the skillet and coat the Brussels sprouts.
  4. Stir the sprouts frequently to prevent sticking, and add the rice wine vinegar.
  5. Add the chopped prosciutto and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes until the sprouts are bright green and cooked through.
  6. Serve confidently, knowing your family will love the Brussels sprouts.
