Garlic-Prosciutto Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 2 oz prosciutto, cut into small pieces
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 12 oz brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves discarded
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • to taste salt
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. 2. Sauté the prosciutto in a skillet with a little melted butter until crispy, then push it to one side.
  3. 3. Add the remaining butter and sauté the garlic until aromatic and slightly browned.
  4. 4. Stir in the Brussels sprouts and combine well with the prosciutto, seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  5. 5. If the mixture is too dry, add another tablespoon of melted butter.
  6. 6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 8 minutes.
  7. 7. Serve immediately.
