Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 12 oz Brussels sprouts

The Seasoning

  • tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper

The Topping

  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. Rinse the Brussels sprouts with water and slice them in half.
  3. Heat a skillet (preferably cast-iron) over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  4. Sauté the garlic briefly, then add the Brussels sprouts, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine.
  5. Top the Brussels sprouts with Parmesan cheese and roast in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
