Honey Garlic Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

The Brussels sprouts

  • 2 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

The honey garlic glaze

  • 3 tbsp unpasteurized honey
  • 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ unit lemon, grated zest
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts by cutting out the stem, trimming the outer leaves, and slicing them in half.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a 9" x 13" rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Roast the Brussels sprouts for 12 to 15 minutes until tender and slightly browned.
  6. While roasting, prepare the honey garlic glaze by mixing honey, white balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and salt in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle with the honey garlic glaze, tossing to coat.
  8. Set the oven to broil and return the Brussels sprouts to the oven until caramelized, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with lemon and parsley.
