Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 6 cups brussels sprouts

The Seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp liquid aminos
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Juice of one lemon
  • to taste seasoning
  • to drizzle balsamic vinegar or chili oil
  • to garnish fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the balsamic vinegar or chili oil.
  4. Stir the mixture until well combined.
  5. Place the brussels sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes until tender and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the brussels sprouts to a bowl and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
  8. Top with fresh thyme and serve.
