Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 1.5 pounds brussels sprouts

The Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic pressed
  • ¼–½ teaspoon salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Clean and trim the brussels sprouts, cutting them in half or quarters if large, and place them in a bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, pressed garlic, salt, and pepper to the bowl, and toss to combine.
  4. Place the coated brussels sprouts cut side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 10-13 minutes until they are toasty and cooked through.
