Turmeric Chicken

The chicken

skinless and boneless chicken meat, breast or thigh, cut into strips
The marinade

turmeric powder

oyster sauce
The stir-fry

deseeded and cut into thick strips

French bean, cut into 2-inch strips

Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder and oyster sauce for 15 minutes.
- Heat up a wok and add the oil, then stir-fry the onion until aromatic.
- Add the marinated chicken to the wok and stir quickly a few times.
- Incorporate the red chili and French beans, stirring well to combine.
- Add water to the wok and continue cooking the chicken.
- Stir in the sugar and salt to taste, and continue stirring until the chicken is cooked through.
- Dish out and serve immediately with steamed rice.
