Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees.
  2. Pat the turkey dry and remove the contents from the inner cavity.
  3. Inject the turkey with the marinade, if using.
  4. Drizzle the turkey with olive oil or butter and rub it into the skin.
  5. Season the turkey with the spices, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Place the turkey in the smoker and smoke for 3 hours.
  7. Increase the smoker temperature to 350 degrees and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  8. Allow the turkey to rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
