Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees.
- Pat the turkey dry and remove the contents from the inner cavity.
- Inject the turkey with the marinade, if using.
- Drizzle the turkey with olive oil or butter and rub it into the skin.
- Season the turkey with the spices, ensuring even coverage.
- Place the turkey in the smoker and smoke for 3 hours.
- Increase the smoker temperature to 350 degrees and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- Allow the turkey to rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
