Slow-Roasted Salmon

skinless center-cut salmon fillet

tender herbs (such as parsley, cilantro, dill, and/or chives)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 275°F.
- Whisk together olive oil, harissa, and grated garlic in a bowl.
- Pour half of the harissa oil into a baking dish and coat the bottom.
- Thinly slice half of the lemon, remove seeds, and scatter the slices in the dish.
- Season the salmon with salt on all sides and place it in the dish.
- Pour the remaining harissa oil over the salmon and spread it evenly.
- Roast the salmon for 15 minutes, then baste it with the oil from the dish.
- Return the salmon to the oven and continue roasting until it flakes easily, about 10-20 minutes.
- Break up the salmon into pieces and arrange it on a platter with lemon slices.
- Drizzle with remaining harissa oil and squeeze the other lemon half over it, then scatter herbs on top.
