Instructions
- Whisk together buttermilk, pickle juice, and salt in a medium mixing bowl or baking dish.
- Soak chicken in the brine for 1-2 hours, then remove from buttermilk.
- Combine seasonings and massage over the chicken.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 9 minutes at 360°F.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 9 minutes.
- Check internal temperature; if it reaches 160°F, remove and cover with foil for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
- If not done, return to air fryer for a few more minutes without turning the heat back on.
