Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 lb. dried pasta

The sauce

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • 2 lb. fresh heirloom tomatoes
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. 2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Stir in ¼ cup of fresh basil, then remove from heat.
  4. 4. Toss the garlic mixture and diced tomatoes with the drained pasta until combined.
  5. 5. Serve topped with the remaining basil and grated Parmesan.
