Ingredients

The chocolate disks

  • 2 ounces dark or milk chocolate

The ice cream filling

  • 1/4 teaspoon ice cream (any flavor)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, ensuring the bowl is clean and dry.
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and drop about 1/4 teaspoon of melted chocolate onto the sheets, spreading it into larger circles.
  3. Cool the chocolate disks completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  4. Scoop small balls of ice cream and place them on a chilled plate, then freeze the plate.
  5. Once the ice cream has softened slightly, place it between two chocolate disks to form sandwiches.
  6. Refreeze the sandwiches until ready to serve.
