Instructions
- Rinse and sort the pinto beans, then add them to the slow cooker.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir well.
- Cover and cook on High for 5 hours or Low for 8 hours.
- Once done, use an immersion blender to puree the beans to your desired consistency, or use a potato masher for a coarser texture.
- Garnish as desired with options like pepitas, cilantro, sour cream, lime, cheese, avocado, or salsa.
