Ingredients

Chocolate Layer

  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons marshmallow creme
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract

White Chocolate Layer

  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons marshmallow creme
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 tablespoon crushed candy canes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. For the chocolate layer, melt sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and marshmallow creme in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and peppermint extracts, then spread the mixture into the prepared pan and refrigerate.
  4. Clean the saucepan and repeat the process for the white chocolate layer using white chocolate chips, adding crushed candy canes before spreading it over the chocolate layer.
  5. Sprinkle extra crushed candy canes on top if desired.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for about 4 hours until set.
  7. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the foil, peel off the foil, and cut into 1-inch squares.
