Ingredients

  • 1 vegan egg Bob's Red Mill Brand
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup melted vegan margarine
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch sea salt
  • ¾ cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a large cast-iron skillet.
  2. Prepare a vegan egg and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add brown sugar and maple syrup to the bowl, and whisk until combined.
  4. Stir in melted margarine and almond milk, whisking until smooth.
  5. Fold in almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, sea salt, and chocolate chips until combined.
  6. Transfer the dough to the skillet and flatten it using a spatula.
  7. Bake for 25-35 minutes until golden brown, allowing the center to remain gooey.
  8. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
