Ingredients

  • 4 pieces firm pears
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 pieces eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • to taste powdered sugar for garnish
  • as needed cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat a 9-inch round pan with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange the sliced pears in the pan.
  3. In a blender, combine butter, eggs, milk, salt, sugar, flour, and vanilla, then blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard batter over the pears in the pan.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the custard is golden and firm.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
