Strawberry Cream Cheese Breakfast Pastries

Instructions
- Thaw the puff pastry according to package directions and preheat the oven to 400°F halfway through thawing.
- Mix cream cheese, strawberry jam, and food coloring in a bowl until smooth, then refrigerate.
- Cut the pastry into heart shapes using a cookie cutter and transfer to a baking sheet.
- Score a heart shape inside each cut-out heart without cutting through the dough.
- Spread 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each heart, avoiding the edges.
- Top the cream cheese layer with diced strawberries.
- Brush the edges with the egg wash mixture.
- Bake for 14-15 minutes until golden brown, then cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
