Homemade Ranch Dressing

Optional fresh herbs

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, ¼ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons buttermilk, dried dill, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, and several grinds of pepper.
- Adjust the consistency by adding more mayonnaise for a thicker dressing or more milk for a thinner dressing.
- Season to taste with additional salt and fold in the fresh chives and dill if using.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
