Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Whisk together the olive oil, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar, chili flakes, red wine vinegar, and dried oregano to make the sauce.
- In a baking dish, add the chicken thighs and half of the ketchup sauce, mixing to coat the chicken well. Bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove the chicken and set aside. Add the gnocchi to the baking dish along with the remaining sauce, crumbled feta, pressed garlic, cream, and chicken broth. Mix well.
- Nestle the block of feta in the center and return the chicken thighs to the dish (not on top of the feta).
- Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F and the feta is softened.
- Remove the chicken and stir everything together in the pan with the softened feta. Serve with fresh basil and halved cherry tomatoes if desired.
