Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
- Make the crumb topping by mixing sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt, then incorporating butter until crumbs form. Stir in sliced almonds.
- In a separate bowl, cream sugar and butter until fluffy, then mix in almond extract.
- Combine dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another. Alternate adding these to the creamed mixture until combined.
- Fold in the berries gently.
- Spread the batter in the prepared pan and top with the crumb mixture.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and drizzle with glaze.
