Berry Crumble Bars

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper or nonstick spray.
- 2. In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the berries, lemon juice, and maple syrup, mashing the berries until they burst.
- 3. Turn off the heat and stir in the chia seeds, then let the mixture cool completely in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- 4. In a bowl, combine almond flour, oats, baking powder, and salt, then mix in maple syrup and almond butter until well blended.
- 5. Reserve ½ cup of the dough, then press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- 6. Pour the chilled berry filling over the crust and sprinkle the reserved crumble on top.
- 7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown, then let cool before cutting into bars.
- 8. Store any leftovers in the fridge.
