Cranberry Orange Crumble Bars

The cranberry orange filling

fresh cranberries

maple syrup

Instructions
- Soften the coconut butter in a bowl of hot water.
- Prepare the cranberry filling by combining cranberries, water, maple syrup, orange juice, and zest in a saucepan over medium-low heat and cover.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crust/crumble ingredients except for the coconut butter and oil, and mix with a fork.
- Add the softened coconut butter and solid coconut oil to the mixture and mix until crumbly.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a square pan with parchment paper.
- Press about ⅔ of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
- Once the cranberries have broken down, layer the cranberry mixture over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, optionally refrigerate for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
