Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Cut the cold butter into the dry mixture until it resembles pea-sized crumbles.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla, then pour over the flour mixture and mix until crumbly.
- Set aside 2 cups of the mixture and press the rest into the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, mix the cranberry filling ingredients and spread over the crust.
- Sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture and sliced almonds over the cranberry filling.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until the top is lightly browned and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan, then make the icing by whisking the icing ingredients together and drizzle over the bars before cutting into squares.
