Ingredients

The fruits

  • 2 large grapefruits
  • 4 large oranges
  • 1 ½ cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 4 ounces pomegranate seeds

The garnish

  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 2 springs fresh mint or basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice off the top and bottom of the grapefruits and peel them.
  2. Cut the grapefruits and oranges into ¼-inch slices.
  3. Combine the grapefruit and orange segments in a bowl with their juices.
  4. Add strawberries, pomegranate seeds, and powdered sugar, then toss gently.
  5. Refrigerate the salad for 1 hour before serving.
  6. Serve on plates or a large platter, garnished with mint if desired.
