Ingredients

The base

  • 5 large Egg yolks
  • ½ cup Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend
  • 1 pinch Sea salt

The liquids

  • cups Unsweetened coconut milk beverage
  • 1 cup Heavy cream

The flavoring

  • ¼ cup Dutch processed cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the egg yolks, powdered sweetener, and sea salt until combined.
  2. In a saucepan, whisk together the coconut milk, cream, and cocoa powder, then heat until it simmers.
  3. Slowly pour the hot cream mixture into the egg yolk mixture while whisking constantly.
  4. Transfer the mixture back to the saucepan and heat until it reaches 170°F.
  5. Remove from heat, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. Churn the cold custard in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  7. Serve immediately or freeze for a firmer texture.
