Ham and Sausage Hash Brown Egg Bake

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces ground spicy Italian sausage
  • 2 cups chopped Smithfield ham
  • 4 units eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon seasoning of your choice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound shredded potatoes (hashbrowns)
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • to taste units green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a skillet until cooked through, then add the ham and heat together.
  2. Whisk the eggs, milk, seasoning, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the hashbrowns at the bottom.
  5. Pour 2/3 of the egg mixture over the hashbrowns, then add 1/4 cup of shredded cheese on top.
  6. Add the meat mixture and then pour the remaining egg mixture over it.
  7. Top with the last 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and cover loosely with greased foil.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes until the egg is firm and cheese is melted, removing the foil for the last few minutes for browning.
  9. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes, sprinkle with green onions, and serve.
