Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup vegan butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220C/425F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the almond milk and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes to curdle.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  4. Add the chopped vegan butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  5. Stir in the curdled milk mixture until just combined.
  6. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it out to an inch thick.
  7. Cut out biscuits using a cutter and place them on the baking tray.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then cool on a rack.
