Instructions
- Whisk together ¼ cup of water and xanthan gum in a small bowl and let it thicken.
- In a small saucepan, combine the remaining water, salt, and sweetener over low heat and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the xanthan gum mixture and flavor extracts.
- Allow the syrup to cool completely; it will continue to thicken.
