The glaze

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pulse the dry ingredients in a food processor until the pecans are in small pieces.
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and cut in the almond butter until crumbly.
- Add the milk and chopped apples, mixing until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a 7-inch diameter circle and cut into eight equal pieces.
- Place the pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes until they start to brown.
- Cool for at least 15 minutes before glazing.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing all glaze ingredients until thick.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled scones.
