Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and optional espresso powder.
- In another bowl, mix the oil, eggs, sour cream, buttermilk, and vanilla until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then add hot water and mix until smooth.
- For the cream cheese filling, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the egg, sugar, and vanilla.
- Pour ⅔ of the chocolate batter into the Bundt pan, spread the cream cheese filling on top, and then pour the remaining chocolate batter over it.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 2 hours, then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with optional toppings before slicing and serving.
