Instructions
- If using fresh jalapeños, chop them; if sautéing, cook until softened.
- Grind the cashews in a food processor until they resemble a fine powder.
- Add vinegar, lemon juice, salt, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, and mustard powder to the cashews and blend until smooth.
- Incorporate parsley, minced onion, dill, pepper, and jalapeños by pulsing the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to cheese cloth, shape it into a ball or cone, and secure it.
- Place it in a mesh strainer over a bowl and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
- Once set, coat with optional toppings like crushed crackers or breadcrumbs.
- If desired, decorate as a Christmas tree using slivered almonds, pretzels, and veggies.
- Serve with crackers and veggies.
