Roasted Jalapeño Vegan Queso

Instructions
- Soak cashews in cool water overnight or in hot water for 1 hour, then drain.
- Preheat the oven to medium broil and place jalapeños on a baking sheet.
- Broil the jalapeños for 4-7 minutes until slightly blackened, then wrap in foil to steam for a few minutes.
- Peel the skin off the jalapeños and remove seeds and stems.
- In a blender, combine soaked cashews, jalapeños, nutritional yeast, water, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and hot sauce.
- Blend until creamy, adding more water if needed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
