Easy Cilantro Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro (tightly packed)
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 shallot
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon fine Himalayan salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  4. Chill in the fridge for several hours to thicken.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
