Ingredients

  • 2 fillets Alaskan Cod
  • ¼ cup gluten free tamari sauce
  • 2–4 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • to taste black pepper
  • to taste sea salt
  • 2–3 slices fresh ginger
  • optional chili pepper seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Clean the cod fillets and place them in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine tamari sauce, lime juice, oil, honey, ginger, black pepper, and sea salt.
  4. Mix the marinade and drizzle it over the fish fillets.
  5. Roast the fish for about 10-15 minutes, covering with foil for the first 8 minutes.
  6. Add ginger slices during the last few minutes of baking.
  7. Optional: Garnish with chili pepper flakes before serving.
