Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks or ½ cup 100% pineapple juice
  • 2 Tablespoons raw honey or pure maple syrup
  • 2 to 4 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 leaves fresh mint, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne powder
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons lime juice

The mixer

  • 6 to 12 ounces sparkling water
  • optional crushed ice and/or sliced lime to garnish

Instructions

  1. Blend or whisk the base ingredients together until combined to create a concentrate.
  2. Store the concentrate in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 6 weeks.
  3. When ready to serve, pour the concentrate into a glass and add sparkling water to taste.
  4. Garnish with lime and mint, and enjoy.
